ICU Online Web TV is work in progress, the creation of PGM Express a web design and film production team. The original purpose was for ICU Online to showcase the PGM Express portfolio but the site has since taken on a life of its own. Please feel free to log in and track our development. We have been online since July 2008 constantly developing, we have tested various platform layouts, templates, video players, software’s and technologies that best help us deliver media and entertainment to a global audience. We have neither advertised or marketed this site, but through word of mouth we have reached the top 200 thousand most viewed sites in the world, according to the Alexa web rankings, this is out of the 251 million websites now online. We are quite surprised yet very grateful and inspired by the global response to ICU and we are listening very carefully to the feed back given to us concerning what our users desire to see and hear. 2011 is the year we aim to complete the back end of ICU Online and officially launch.
ICU Online Web TV is an online entertainment platform for video and blogging communities. Our goal is to provide our users with entertainment and relevant news and information found free on the web. We gather the content from popular sites and networks, we search for videos from suggested genre and topics and deliver them all in one place. We search the net and bring the best of what we can find all to one place so that you don’t have to.
Our video library is made up from a combination of the best we can find of free to view videos online, (such as videos from YouTube, Yahoo, Vimeo, Daily Motion and any such free to view video network) and productions made by partners of ICU Online or production teams who create content specifically for the web. Our users do not generate our content but our users can suggest content, we have teams who fill the video content based on feedback from our online communities and a board who approve which content is suitable for ICU Online, we avoid sexual materials and any distasteful or extremely violent materials. We tend not to post viral videos in the web TV section (home made videos) so when searching for a subject in our search engines you will not have to first sift through a huge amount of armature videos before finding the production video you are seeking. At the start of 2011 there will be two thousand video clips in our library, we will provide at least ten thousand videos by the end of 2011.
It should be noted concerning videos not produced by our team, we are not copying videos and re-posting them, we have either permission from the creator or are simply sharing what is free to be shared online.
The video section of our network is still a work in progress but what is on display at the moment is about 40% of what will be available after our official launch.
The Blog Central is our online blog magazine covering news, fashion, health and a variety of topics. We currently have a team of bloggers keeping blog central up to date. Our news articles are a combination of re-posts from a selection of news networks found free online to whom we have subscribed, and our own team of bloggers who keep us all up to date with what they have discovered to be news worthy.
The official launch of ICU will take place during 2011 and we are exited at what we will be offering movie lovers and the social networking community.
